Building a Stronger, More Loving Community
Every September, hundreds of Madison families pour into Brittingham Park for music, dancing, food and connection. Organized by neighbors, for neighbors.

Is the Good Neighbor Gathering really free?
Getting in is free and every activity is free. No tickets, no registration. Food carts and the makers market are local small businesses, so bring cash or a card if you want to eat or shop.
When is the 2027 Gathering?
The 2027 date hasn’t been announced yet. It lands on a Sunday afternoon in early fall, and it has run 12:00 to 4:00 PM in past years. Follow us on Instagram and we’ll post the date as soon as it’s set.
What about severe weather?
The event is only cancelled in the case of severe weather. Check our Instagram for any updates.
Is there parking nearby?
Free street parking surrounds the park, and it fills up on nice days. Metro Transit and BCycle are both good alternatives. See the parking map →
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, on a leash. Clean up after them and keep them comfortable in the crowd.
How can I volunteer or sponsor the event?
Head to the Get Involved page. Volunteers, sponsors and donors are what keep the activities free.
